Salient features of BITSAT-2024

• The candidate sits in front of a computer and the questions are presented on the monitor and the candidate submits his answers through the use of key board or mouse.
• The computer is connected to the server, which delivers the test, in real time through a reliable connectivity.
• The online tests are conducted at centers pan India, Nepal and Dubai during May-June every year (in 2 sessions).
• Candidate can choose the center, the date and time for the test, as per his/her convenience, while applying for the tests.
• The advertisement calling for applications are normally released in December/January every year.
• The score is made available to the candidate on the screen immediately after the test and thus is designed to be transparent. Students can even take a printout of their scores through the link made available on the admission website for any futher usage.
• The test will have Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency and Logical reasoning, and Mathematics/Biology parts and is of 3 hours duration.
• All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions) and based on current NCERT syllabus.
• The test is so designed that it doesn't require the candidate to have any special computer skill.
• A sample test will be made available to the registered candidates at the BITS admission Website on which he/she can practice as many times as desired during March-April every year.
• In BITSAT, the questions are selected at random from a large question bank. Different candidates will get different question sets, but of same difficulty level and content.
• BITSAT uses latest technologies for security and test delivery. The architecture uses high end servers, firewalls and latest softwares.

Interested candidates should register their names for BITSAT-2024 by applying in the prescribed application form online. A candidate has to complete the application form online at http://www.bitsadmission.com and pay the prescribed fees. Also, take the printout of the filled-in form for your future reference. In addition to applying and appearing for BITSAT-2024, candidates have to also apply for admission to BITS giving details of their 12th marks and preferences to different degree programmes offered at three Indian campuses of BITS. The prescribed application form for admission, the detailed application procedure, details of academic flexibilities such as Dual Degree, Transfer, etc.; admission modality, and the final list of degree programmes offered will be made available at the BITS admission website, tentatively in June 2024. The completed application form with the details of their 12th marks and preferences to different degree programmes along with the required application fee has to be submitted online at the BITS admission website during the application window. The candidate should have minimum 75% or more in PCM/PCB in aggregate and minimum 60% or more in individual subjects (PCM/PCB) in 12th class. PCM means only the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. PCB means only the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. PCB candidates are eligible to apply only for B.Pharm.
